SPEAKING IN TONGUES.

A TONGUE IS A LANGUAGE. 

We have different tongues aka Languages in the world. 

WHEN PEOPLE SPEAK IN TONGUES, THEY SPEAK IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES OF THE WORLD WHICH THEY DO NOT KNOW IN REAL LIFE.

WHEN PEOPLE SPEAK IN TONGUES THEY ARE SPEAKING IN THE SPIRIT BUT THE LANGUAGE THEY SPEAK IS SPOKEN IN THE WORLD. 

WHEN YOU SPEAK IN TONGUES, THE PERSON WHO SPEAKS THE LANGUAGE YOU ARE SPEAKING IN THE SPIRIT IS THE ONE WHO INTERPRETES WHAT YOU ARE SAYING.

THERE HAS TO BE SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS THE TONGUE YOU ARE SPEAKING SO AS TO INTERPRET OTHERWISE YOUR SPEAKING IN TONGUE DOES NOT HELP THE PEOPLE PRESENT. 

SPEAKING IN TONGUES IS NOT BABBLING OF FAKE SOUNDS THAT NO ONE CAN UNDERSTAND. THAT ONE IS DONE BY GENTILES. GIBBERISH UNINTELLIGIBLE FAKE SOUNDS. THATS SATANIC. 

LET'S SEE WHAT THE SCRIPTURES OF TRUTH SAY:

SCRIPTURAL STUDY

FROM THE UNCORRUPTED AND UNADULTERATED SCRIPTURES OF TRUTH 

MA'ASEI 2:1-12

[1] And when the Day of the Festival of Shaḇu‛ot had come, they were all with one mind in one place.

FESTIVAL OF SHAḆU'OT IS A ONE OF THE FESTIVALS FOR YHWH .

THIS IS A FESTIVAL FOR ALL TGE CHILDREN OF YHWH THE ELOHIM OF YISRA’ĔL WHO ARE CITIZENS OF YISRA’ĔL THROUGH THE BLOOD OF YAHSHUA. 

[2] And suddenly there came a sound from the heavens, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

THE SOUND OF RUSHING MIGHTY WIND WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE HEAVENS. 

[3] And there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and settled on each one of them.

THE SHAPE OF TONGUES  APPEARED THAT LOOK LIKE FIRE. EACH TONGUE SETTLED ON EACH OF THE EMISSARIES. 

[4] And they were all filled with the Set-apart Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them to speak.

LOOK AT VERSE 4

ALL THE EMISSARIES WERE FILLED WITH THE SET-APART SPIRIT.

The emissaries started speaking different languages. Each of them spoke a language they have not spoken before.

[5] Now in Yahrushalayim there were dwelling Yahudim, dedicated men from every nation under the heaven.

[6] And when this sound came to be, the crowd came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language.

LOOK AT VERSE 6

EVERYONE HEARD THE SOUND OF RUSHING MIGHTY WIND COMING FROM THE HEAVENS.

The crowd came to see what was happening and found the emissaries each speaking in a different language. 

[7] And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying to each other, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans?

LOOK AT VERSE 7

The emissaries of YAHSHUA spoke Galilean language but they were speaking in different languages. 

[8]“And how do we hear, each one in our own language in which we were born?

LOOK AT VERSE 8

All the people were wondering how Galileans were speaking languages of all the people who were there in the crowd. 

The people in the crowd were from different places and spoke different languages. 

[9] Parthians and Medes and Eylamites, and those dwelling in Aram Naharayim, both Yahudah and Kappadokia, Pontos and Asia,”

[10] both Phrygia and Pamphulia, Mitsrayim and the parts of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Yahudim and converts,

[11] Cretans and Arabs, we hear them speaking in our own tongues the great deeds of Elohim.

LOOK AT VERSE 9-11

All those are languages of people who were in the crowd and the emissaries were speaking in those languages. And the people who were in the crowd could here their own languages being spoken by Galileans.

ALL THE PEOPLE STRAIGHT AWAY KNEW THAT THEY SPOKE DIFFERENT LANGUAGES THROUGH THE POWER OF ELOHIM OF YISRA’EL. 

[12] And they were all amazed, and were puzzled, saying to each other, “What does this mean?”

NOTE:

When someone speaks in tongues, the people whose language you speak know exactly what you are saying. Very simple.

EXAMPLE: In real life I speak different languages. When my husband speaks in tongues he uses a language that I know.

In real life, he doesn't speak that language, but in the Spirit, he speaks that language and even sings in that language and I understand what he says as he speaks in tongues.

SOMEONE CAN SPEAK DIFFERENT LANGUAGES AT DIFFERENT TIMES.

E.g Chinese, Arab, Hebrew, German, French, African language e.t.c

THE LANGUAGES SPOKEN IN TONGUES ARE REAL LANGUAGES OF THE WORLD. THE LANGUAGE YOU SPEAK IN TONGUES, HAS TO HAVE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS IT THERE.

The person who understands the language you speak in a tongue is the one who interpretes to the others what you are saying. 

IF THERE IS NO ONE TO INTERPRET THEN YOUR SPEAKING IN A TONGUE IS NOT HELPFUL TO THE PEOPLE. 

You can speak in tongues and you dont know what you are saying. 

SCRIPTURES SAY:

QORINTIYIM ALEPH 14:13-14

[13] Therefore, he who is speaking in a tongue, let him pray that he might interpret.

IF YOU SPEAK IN A TONGUE, IT HAS TO BE INTERPRETED.

[14] For if I am praying in a tongue, my spirit is praying, but my understanding is without fruit.

WHEN YOU PRAY IN A TONGUE, YOUR SPIRIT IS PRAYING BUT YOU YOURSELF DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE TONGUE YOU ARE USING.

QORINTIYIM 14:27-28

[27] If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret.

[28] And if there is no interpreter, let him be silent in an assembly, and let him speak to himself and to Elohim.

LOOK AT VERSE 27

ALL THE PEOPLE CANNOT SPEAK IN TONGUES AT THE SAME TIME.

THERE HAS TO BE SOMEONE TO INTERPRET WHAT IS SPOKEN IN A TONGUE.

LOOK AT VERSE 28

IF THERE IS NO ONE TO INTERPRET, THEN DO NOT SPEAK IN A TONGUE. 

What you say in a tongue needs to be known by everyone otherwise, it's benefitting no one.

QORINTIYIM ALEPH 14:40

Let all be done decently and in order.

Everyone cannot speak in tongues at the same time. That's lack of order.

Everything should be done in a decent way 

Everything should be orderly.

If you speak in a tongue, let there be an interpreter who tells you and the others what you said in a tongue. 

If you speak in a tongue and there's no one to interpret, then you are building yourself. 

If there's someone to interpret, you are building others 

WHEN YOU SPEAK IN A TONGUE, YOU SPEAK IN THE SPIRIT. 

QORINTIYIM ALEPH 14: 16-17

[16] Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how shall he who fills up the place of the unlearned say “Omein” at your giving of thanks, since he does not know what you say?

LOOK AT VERSE 16

If you pray in a tongue and give thanks and bless and no one interprets what you say, then the people cannot say Omein.

IT'S BETTER SPEAKING A LANGUAGE EVERYONE CAN UNDERSTAND. 

[17] For you truly give thanks well, but the other is not built up.

SPEAKING IN A TONGUE WITHOUT BUILDING OTHERS IS NOT UNSCRIPTURAL.

The message spoken in a tongue is useful to others when interpreted, if the message is not interpreted then it is useless to the people listening to it.

EVERYTHING IS IN THE SCRIPTURES OF TRUTH.
